Step One - Check your Qualifications and Review Available Floor Plans
Answer “Yes” to ALL seven questions on the Eligibility Criteria page on this website.
Household income may not exceed the 2026 80% of Area Median Income (AMI) (see income limits on Eligibility Criteria page)
Until the building has been approved for in person viewings, please review floor plans on “Project Information” page of this website to familiarize yourself with the residences and determine which possible units could work best for you. Due to the application process, we ask that you provide 3 possible unit options in case the unit you select is no longer available. A listing of all available units with rental amounts will be posted on this website by end of day 09/11/2026.
First occupancy is targeted for as early as October 2026.
Step Two - Application Packet Request
Request a link to the online application by:
Clicking the “Contact” tab on this website and completing the requested information
Send a request for the application link to Amana@associatedhawaii.com
Once your information is received, our team will send you a link to the ONLINE Amana Application Packet.
Step Three - Application Submittal
Using the Application link emailed to you, COMPLETE the online application.* Upload a copy of the most CURRENT requested documents (i.e. bank statements, pay stubs). Please note, screenshots of online accounts will not be accepted.
Within the application, you will be asked to select three possible units that could work for you. Please list the units based on your preference (i.e. First choice 302, Second choice 402, Third choice 216) Please visit the floor plans on the “Project Information” page of this website to familiarize yourself with the options. A listing of all available units with rental amounts will be posted on this website by end of day 09/11/2026.
Once an application is deemed COMPLETE, it will be date stamped and our team will submit the application* to the City and County of Honolulu’s Department of Planning and Permitting (DPP) for their review.
IMPORTANT - Information submitted in the Application must be COMPLETE and CURRENT as of the application date submittal. Incomplete applications will be returned for completion.
*DPP’s application fee is $75.00 per household and Associated Real Estate Advisor’s application fee is $25 per applicant
Step Four - Application Results and Unit Selection
Our office will contact you with your rental application results.
Approved applicants will be sent a Rental Agreement for review and a leasing signing appointment will be scheduled.
At the lease signing, a security deposit equal to one month’s rent will be collected.
Step Five - Move in Day
This will be coordinated at the time of your lease signing.
